General

1. The Israeli government's Ministerial Committee for Legislative Affairs approved a bill banning the use of loudspeakers on mosque minarets for the call to prayer.


Raids and Arrests

‣ Jenin refugee camp and town (Day 535), Tulkarm refugee camp and town (Day 529), Nur Shams refugee camp (Day 515).

‣ Overnight raids conducted in Qusra, Silwad, Kafr Thulth, Halhul, Dheisheh refugee camp, Ramallah, Al-Bireh, Nablus, Kafr Qallil, Beit Dajan, Ni'lin, Qalandia refugee camp, Al-Arroub refugee camp, and Sebastia. Daytime raids carried out in Sinjil, Idna, Deir Jarir, Iraq Burin, Kafr Dan, Nabi Ilyas, Izbat at-Tabib, Al-Mughayyir, Beita, Hableh, Jinsafut, Maghazi Jaba', and al-Mazra'a ash-Sharqiya. At least 12 arrested, including 5 women, among them a nurse and a journalist.


Israeli Military Attacks on Palestinians

1. Dheisheh refugee camp, east of Bethlehem – Night raid on a home.

2. Halhul, north of Hebron – Night raid on a residential building. Arrest.

3. Al-Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron – Pre-dawn raid on a home. Arrest.

4. Jerusalem – Police forces attack a funeral procession near Damascus Gate.


5. Al-Mughayyir, north-east of Ramallah – Clashes; tear gas deployed.

6. al-Mazra'a ash-Sharqiya, north-east of Ramallah – Clashes.

7. Silwad, north-east of Ramallah – Night raid on several homes. Vehicle confiscated and arrest made.

8. Deir Jarir, east of Ramallah – Clashes.

9. Burin, south of Nablus – Clashes.

10. Beita, south of Nablus – Evening raid; bicycles confiscated.

11. Kafr Qallil, south of Nablus – Night raid on several homes.

12. Sebastia, north-west of Nablus – Raid on a home. Clashes in the afternoon, live fire and stun grenades. Raid on the municipal building; contents vandalized.


Demolitions, Confiscations, and Blockades

1. Sa'ir, north of Hebron – Earthworks near the new outpost.

2. Idna, west of Hebron – Demolition orders distributed for several homes in the west of the village.

3. Susya, Masafer Yatta – Demolition orders distributed for several homes owned by a single family.


4. Kufr al-Dik, west of Salfit – Structures used for agriculture demolished.

5. Sinjil, north-east of Ramallah – Town entrances closed.


Colonist Attacks on Palestinians

1. Kafr Ra'i, south of Jenin – Colonists erect a tent on village land.

2. Umm al Butm (Wadi Sa’ir), north of Hebron – Colonists spray "Death to Arabs" graffiti.


3. Shib Al Butin, Masafer Yatta – Grazing among the community's homes.

4. Bruqin, west of Salfit – Residents' homes attacked.

5. Atara, north of Ramallah – Colonists take over a home near the outpost and bring in furniture.

6. Burka, east of Ramallah – Provocations in olive groves.


7. Tayibe, east of Ramallah – Again today, as on most days, provocations among the Bedouin community's homes on the outskirts of the town.

8. Umm Safa, north-west of Ramallah – Mobile structures brought to the new outpost on Jabal al-Ras.


9. Beit Furik, east of Nablus – Provocative night patrols near residents' homes. Later in the day, provocations in the agricultural land of the village and the neighboring villages of Salem and Beit Dajan.


10. Rujeib, east of Nablus – Dancing and provocations on the main street.


11. Beita, south of Nablus – Olive trees uprooted and vandalized.
