The American-Israeli attack on Iran, day 12
General
March 11 marked a significant escalation in the war, with heavy U.S.-Israeli strikes inside Iran, renewed Iranian missile attacks on Israel, and widening fighting across the Gulf and regional proxy fronts.
◦ The war entered its second week with one of the most intense days of fighting so far.
◦ The United States and Israel continue large-scale airstrikes across Iran, especially around Tehran, targeting missile infrastructure, air defense systems and facilities of the Revolutionary Guard.
◦ Iran responds with missile and drone attacks against Israel and U.S. targets in the region, while expanding attacks against regional economic and maritime infrastructure and vessels in the Strait of Hormuz.

‣ Iran
1. Events:
During the day, 208 attacks reported across 22 provinces, including a missile launch site and a girls’ school in Khomein, an air force base and a heritage site in Isfahan, a gas station and the administrative building of a central bank in Tehran, an oil storage facility in Qom and a school in Bushehr.

◦ Since the beginning of the war, 19,735 buildings damaged, including 77 medical centers and 65 educational centers.
2. Casualties:
◦ Over the past 24 hours:
- civilians - 14 killed, including five children and three women;
- military personnel - 7 killed;
- affiliation not yet determined - 17 killed.
◦ Since February 28, 2026:
- 1,276 civilians killed, including at least 200 children;
- 197 military personnel;
- 357 affiliation not yet determined.
‣ Israel
1. Events:
◦ During the night, multiple sirens and a combined attack by Iran and Hezbollah, mainly in northern Israel. The attacks included drones and missiles with cluster warheads.

◦ During the evening, an intensive Hezbollah attack on northern Israel lasting about three hours, including 160 rockets and missiles in eight waves. During the attacks a direct hit on a northern community was reported.
◦ So far Hezbollah has launched 850 rockets toward Israel.
◦ Israeli military censorship prohibits publication of information about sites that were hit.
2. Casualties:
◦ Since February 28, 2026:
- 14 civilians and 2 soldiers killed and 2,557 injured (84 still hospitalized).

◦ Strait of Hormuz - Thai vessel hit.
‣ Dubai
1. Events:
◦ Airport bombed, four injured.
‣ Oman
1. Events:
◦ Drone strike on fuel tanks at the port of Salalah.
‣ Qatar
1. Events:
◦ U.S. base bombed.
Lebanon
1. The Israeli army issues an order for the immediate evacuation of six neighborhoods in the Dahieh suburb of Beirut.

2. Massive attacks (air, artillery and drones) across southern Lebanon, the Beqaa and Beirut (Dahieh and western Beirut), including Chehabiyeh, six killed; Dahieh including an attempted targeted assassination; Tamnine El Tahta (Baalbek), ten killed; Majdal Zoun, eight killed; Touline, eight killed; Borj El Chmali, seven killed, and many other locations.
3. Casualties:
◦ During the day at least 64 Lebanese killed and 142 injured.
◦ Since March 2, 2026:
- 634 killed and 1,586 injured, including 83 children.
- 780,000 displaced, including 120,000 in reception centers.
