Wednesday, October 2, 2024 – The West Bank

Raids and arrests

During the night, Israeli forces raided Hebron, Halhul, Al-Arroub refugee camp, as-Samu, Nablus, Balata refugee camp, Old Askar refugee camp. During the day they raided Al-Bireh, Marah Rabah, Jalbun, Wadi Fukin, Battir, Husan. 13 Palestinians were arrested.

‣ Since October 7, 2023, 11,000 Palestinians have been arrested.

Israeli army attacks against Palestinians

1. Hebron – night raid of houses of those involved in the Jaffa terrorist attack. Arrests. During the raids soldiers attacked an ambulance team and wounded paramedics.

2. Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus – night raid with bulldozers. Arrests.

3. Jalbun, east of Jenin - forces took over a house and turned it into an army post.

Palestinian attacks against the army

1. Dotan Checkpoint, south-west of Jenin – shots fired at the checkpoint.

Restrictions

1. Placing barriers/checkpoints and closing gates in various localities throughout the West Bank, harsher movement restrictions in the Old City of Hebron.

Colonist attacks against Palestinians

1. Jamma'in, south of Nablus – colonists attack villagers and vandalize a vehicle.

2. Huwara, south of Nablus – colonists attack olive harvesters, wound two and steal harvest equipment.

3. Sa'adet Tha'la, Masafer Yatta – armed colonist raids the community and threatens its members.
