Raids and arrests
During the night, Israeli forces raided Jayus, Kafr Laqif, Nablus, Zawiya, Balata refugee camp. During the day they raided Beita, Marah Rabah, Jalqamus, Azzun, Al-Bireh, Tubas, Beit Furik, Hizma, Burin, Tuqu'a, Qarawat Bani Hassan, Tulkarm, Balata refugee camp (twice more), Idna, Hajjah, Al-Arroub refugee camp, Jalazone refugee camp, Jericho. No official report numbering detainees, reports speak at least of 14 Palestinians arrested.
Army attacks against Palestinians
1. Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus – night raid and confrontations. Another 2 raids during the day.
Confrontations, one person killed, 9 wounded, 4 of them badly. Army forces prevent ambulance access.
2. Nablus – night raid and arrests. Vehicle confiscated.
3. Beita, south of Nablus – raid to prevent weekly procession protesting land-grab on Jabal Sbih and founding of Evyatar colonist outpost. Suffocations. Forces attacked an ambulance and its team, confiscated its keys.
4. Al-Bireh – shots fired at inhabitant close to Psagot colony (no terrorist attack attempt reported). First wounded person arrested, after beating him up he is given over to Red Crescent team.
5. Beit Furik, east of Nablus – confrontations, one person wounded by live fire.
6. Tuqu'a, south-east of Bethlehem – confrontations. Indiscriminate live fire at houses. Girl wounded in the eye by live fire shrapnel.
7. Qarawat Bani Hassan, north-west of Salfit – confrontations.
9. Jericho – raid with stun grenades at city center.
Colonist attacks against Palestinians
1. Qawawis, Masafer Yatta – colonists attack inhabitant (not for the first time). He suffers fractures in the skull and bruised limbs and belly.
3. Salem, east of Nablus – colonists attack houses in northern part of the town. Accompanying forces fire teargas at Palestinians who confront them.
4. Khirbet Ibziq, northern Palestinian Jordan Valley – colonists attack a house.
5. Silwad, north-east of Ramallah – after a colonist outpost was evacuated from the town’s land, colonists attack inhabitants, set fire to 6 vehicles. Soldiers accompanying them stand aside. Palestinians confront them. 7 Palestinians wounded.
6. Ain al-Hilweh, northern Palestinian Jordan Valley – colonists from nearby outpost prevent Palestinians from plowing their own land.
7. Al Buibab, Masafer Yatta – colonists attack and open fire. Several persons wounded. The army arrests 2 of the wounded.
