Monday, August 25, 2025 – The Gaza Strip

In the past 24 hours:

◦ 11 cases of death by starvation, 2 of them children;

◦ 58 persons killed (28 of them aid seekers), 308 wounded (184 of them aid seekers);

Since March 18, 2025 – 10,900 persons killed, 46,218 wounded;

Since May 27, 2025 – 2,123 persons killed, 15,615 wounded, all aid seekers:

◦ So far, 300 persons have died of starvation, 117 of them children.

Since October 7, 2023 – 62,744 persons killed, 158,259 wounded.



General

‣ Massive use of booby-trapped robots (booby-trapped armored vehicles located near buildings) in the Northern Strip and eastern part of Gaza City, source of widespread destruction.


Northern Strip

‣ Explosions of booby-trapped robots;


‣ Unceasing artillery fire;

‣ Aerial bombing;

‣ Machin-gun fire in the south;

‣ House bombed in the west;

‣ Drones drop bombs.


‣ Aerial bombing;

‣ Drones drop bombs, one person wounded, fires spread.

4. Aerial bombing of Al Karama (north-west) area, 3 persons killed.


5. Aerial bombing of Al Siftawi (north-west).

6. Shots fired at aid seekers in the north-west, 2 persons killed.


Gaza City

1. West:

‣ Displaced persons tent in Al Rimal bombed, wounded persons.

2. East:

‣ Booby-trapped robots exploded in Al Tuffah and Shuja'iya;

‣ House bombed in the Old City, one person killed;

‣ Aerial bombing of Shuja'iya.

3. South:

◦ Booby-trapped robot exploded;

◦ Aerial bombing near Bilal Mosque;

‣ Aerial bombing of Al Sabra night and day.


Central Strip

1. Al Bureij refugee camp – artillery fire.

2. Deir al-Balah – shots fired at aid seekers east of town, 4 persons killed.

3. Al-Musaddar – house bombed.

4. Al Maghazi refugee camp – house bombed.

5. Nuseirat refugee camp:

‣ Shots fired at aid seekers in Wadi Gaza, one person killed, persons wounded;

‣ House bombed, 3 persons killed.


Khan Yunis district

1. West:

◦ Displaced persons tent bombed in the night, a girl killed, wounded persons;

◦ House bombed in Al Mawasi, a journalist killed (the 6th during this day alone).

‣ Double tap attack on Al Nassar Hospital compound: first the top floor was bombed, a Reuters journalist killed.


Then journalists and rescue team members arriving at the scene were bombed, as live broadcast was taking place. 22 persons killed, 4 of them journalists (including a female journalist), 7 members of the rescue team, a medical student, and hospitalized patients. Israel claims that the targeted camera on the hospital roof was endangering soldiers.


2. North:

‣ Machine-gun fire at Al Asdaa;

‣ Helicopter fire;

‣ Bombing of Hamad.

3. South:

‣ Shots fired at aid seekers, wounded persons.


4. Center:

‣ Artillery fire, wounded persons.
