Killed

1. Musa’eb Abed Al-Man’am Al-Ida, 20-years-old from Hebron. On August 21st he was shot at a checkpoint in town, arrested and hospitalized. Today, he died of his wounds.


Raids and arrests

During the night, Israeli forces raided Jenin refugee camp and town (227th consecutive day), Tulkarm refugee camp and town (221st consecutive day), Nur Shams refugee camp (208th consecutive day), Beit Ummar, Nablus, Balata refugee camp, Hebron, Azzun, Az-Zawiya, Birzeit, Deir al-Ghusun, Qalqilya. During the day they raided Al Fawwar refugee camp, al-Walaja, Burqa, Silwad, Dura el-Kari'a, Bani Na'im, Tuqu'a, Al-Ram, Issawiya, Qabatiya, Husan, Surif, Beit Ula, Idna,Anabta, Zeita, Shuqba, Shabtin. At least 12 Palestinians were arrested, including a woman.

‣ The Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs reported on its representative’s visit to prison: the incarcerated are required to stand blindfolded and shackled during the entire visit and even beforehand, totaling about 12 hours. Scabies is also reported spreading.


Army attacks against Palestinians

1. Idna, west of Hebron – teargas fired at entrance.

2. Tulkarm – raid of eastern neighborhood, checkpoints erected and shops closed.

3. Al-Ram, north of Jerusalem – teargas fired and stun grenades thrown.

4. Qalqilya – confrontations.

5. Dura el-Kari'a, north-east of Ramallah - confrontations.

6. Al-Mughayyir, north-east of Ramallah – army presence continued, teargas fired. So far over 10,000 olive trees (some of them over 100-years-old) uprooted or cut down as collective punishment.

7. Shabtin, north-west of Ramallah – confrontations.

8. Shuqba, north-west of Ramallah – confrontations.


Palestinian attacks against the army

1. Jenin – improvised explosive charge activated against a military vehicle near Marj Ibn Amer.


Demolitions

1. al-Walaja, west of Bethlehem – farming structure destroyed.

2. Sur Baher, south-east Jerusalem – farming structures destroyed.

3. Burqa, north-west of Nablus – destruction of grain storage space, sheep pen and other farming structures.



Palestinian attacks against colonists

1. Nablus – attack against a vehicle invading the eastern part of town (Aman Street), driver passed over to the army after being rescued by the PA security forces.


Colonist attacks against Palestinians

1. Farsiyeh, northern Palestinian Jordan Valley – community raided 5 times in 24 hours.

2. Birin, south-east of Hebron – new colonist outposts created.

3. Al-Aqsa, East Jerusalem – the shofar (ram’s horn) blown inside the compound violating the status quo.


4. Jaba', east of Jerusalem – armed colonists attack inhabitants, one person wounded.

5. Shib Al Butin, Masafer Yatta – colonists graze their flocks inside the community.

6. Susya, Masafer Yatta – colonists block an activists’ vehicle, a horseback-riding colonist falsely reports being run over by it. The activists notified the police and it arrested… one of the activists.


7. Sinjil, north-east of Ramallah – colonists fire around the mound in the southern part of town.


8. Asira al-Qibliya, south of Nablus – colonists grazing their sheep in the olive tree groves.
