Raids and Arrests

Jenin refugee camp and town (Day 518), Tulkarm refugee camp and town (Day 512), Nur Shams refugee camp (Day 498).

‣ Overnight raids conducted in Qaryut, Aqabat Jaber refugee camp, Az-Zawiya, Jalazone refugee camp, Hizma, Beit Ummar, and Siris. Daytime raids carried out in ad-Dhahiriya, Beit Iba, Nablus, Barta'a, Atuf, Burin, Dura, Beita, Awarta, Shuafat refugee camp, Al-Arroub refugee camp, Jamala, and Udala. At least 4 arrested.



Israeli Military Attacks on Palestinians

1. Jenin – Raid on a residential home in the German Quarter. A mother and her son arrested.

2. Jalazone refugee camp, north of Ramallah – Night raid on a residential home.

3. Jamala, west of Ramallah – Fire opened on residents confronting colonists who attacked in the village.

4. Deir Abu Mash'al, north-west of Ramallah – Clashes (see also under Colonist Attacks on Palestinians below).

5. Nablus – Raid on the Kasbah and the vegetable market.


6. Awarta, south-east of Nablus – Clashes.

7. Burin, south of Nablus – Clashes.


Demolitions

1. Barta'a, west of Jenin – Approximately 20 structures and residential homes demolished in the eastern part of the divided village straddling the Green Line. Mosque loudspeakers called on all merchants and business owners to close their shops and join a general strike in protest against the demolitions.


Palestinian Attacks on Colonists

1. Ras Karkar, north-west of Ramallah – Stones thrown at a bus; vehicle damaged.

2. Between Burqa and Sebastia, north-west of Nablus – Stones thrown at vehicles. A colonist vehicle overturned; 4 wounded.


Colonist Attacks on Palestinians

1. Beit Fajjar, south of Bethlehem – Home attacked; property, communications equipment, and electrical infrastructure vandalized.


2. Jit, east of Qalqilya – Attempted arson of a residential home.

3. Khirbat 'Abu Falah, north of Ramallah – A water trailer stolen.


4. Sinjil, north-east of Ramallah – Agricultural land destroyed by bulldozers; farmers attacked during wheat harvest.

5. Turmus Ayya, north-east of Ramallah – A home attacked.

6. Burka, east of Ramallah – A mosque and vehicles set on fire.


7. Deir Dibwan, east of Ramallah – Colonists set 5 vehicles, two homes, and cultivated fields on fire. Residents clashed with the attackers.


8. Jamala, west of Ramallah – Colonists attack in the village; residents who came out to defend their homes clashed with them. The army fired on the residents.

9. Kharbatha al-Misbah, west of Ramallah – Residents successfully recover a flock of sheep stolen by colonists.


10. Deir Abu Mash'al, north-west of Ramallah – Clashes during the establishment of a new outpost south of the village. A colonist wounded.

11. Sarra, west of Nablus – Agricultural land destroyed; equipment and property vandalized.

12. Al Masoudia, north-west of Nablus – Clashes between colonists and residents who came out to defend their homes. A colonist wounded.
