Protests
1. Kafr Kanna - a resident whose home was shot at slept outside the police station in protest against violence and crime in the Palestinian society in Israel.

Police Violence
1. Jaffa - a young man was beaten by police officers near the Clock Square and suffered a fracture to the eye socket. Walid Saif, returning from a football match, noticed a gathering in the square and stopped to see what was happening. A police officer ordered him to leave the area and cursed at him. Walid cursed back, after which the officer called other policemen who beat him, pinned him to the ground for long minutes, kicked him and eventually arrested him. He was released several hours later and went to the hospital for medical treatment. Police claim that he interfered with an officer carrying out his duties and resisted arrest, and that “reasonable force” was therefore used against him.

2. Be'er Sheva - two police officers, a male officer and a female officer, were questioned by the Police Internal Affairs on suspicion of assaulting attorney Saleh Na’ama at his home last Friday and causing serious injury. The officers were suspended from the police station for 5 days and banned from contacting other individuals involved in the incident. Footage from the officers’ body cameras circulated on social media clearly shows the officers attacking those present in the apartment, beating the attorney and handcuffing him while he was not resisting at all.
