Raids and arrests
During the night, Israeli forces raided Jenin city and refugee camp, Beita, Urif, Deir Ghasana, A Ram, Kafr Dan. During the day, the forces raided Kafr ‘Aqab, Qalandia refugee camp, Shuweika, Tulkarm, Qalqilya, Jayus, Beit Ummar, Jalazone refugee camp, Kafr Malik, Yatma, Al Bireh, Beit Duqqu. 31 Palestinians were arrested, a female university student among them.
Clashes
1. Jenin - night raid. Special force, immediately reinforced by other soldiers, raided several neighborhoods in town. Closed off access to hospitals and ambulance approach, and began arresting people (16). Confrontations ensued, including fire exchange and improvised explosive charges. A military vehicle drove over such a charge and several soldiers were wounded. A force that came to the rescue drove over such a charge too.
An Israeli officer was killed and 17 soldiers were wounded. One Palestinian was wounded by live fire. A bulldozer began destroying infrastructures. After an 8-hour raid, the forces retreated.
2. Beita, south of Nablus - night raid and house searches.
3. Kafr ‘Aqab, north Jerusalem - early morning raid and confrontations.
4. Qalandia refugee camp, north-east of Jerusalem - raid. One Palestinian wounded by live fire when arrested. Confrontations.
5. Yatma, south of Nablus - raid and confrontations.
Attacks against the army
1. Tulkarm refugee camp - shots fired at reconnaissance drones circling above the camp.
2. Nablus - shots fired at army post on Gerizim Mountain.
Colonist attacks
1. Sa'ir, north-east of Hebron - colonists attacks houses with stones.
2. Ni'lin, west of Ramallah - new colonist outpost established.
3. Old City of Jerusalem - colonists took over property of Al Khalidi family during the owner’s absence. Took down a door. Israeli Border Police secured them and prevented owner from entering.
4. Beit Ummar, north of Hebron - a group of armed colonists secured by soldiers straightened 15 dunams with bulldozers north of town, towards tending and takeover. Consequently, Palestinians’ access to their own lands there will be prevented for “security” reasons.
5. Hebron, Old City - colonists attacked houses and vehicles with stones and empty bottles. Damage to property.
