Raids and arrests

During the night, Israeli forces raided Jenin refugee camp and town (311th consecutive day), Tulkarm refugee camp and town (305th consecutive day), Nur Shams refugee camp (291st consecutive day), Ni'lin, Al Far'a refugee camp, Hebron, Tubas, Silat al-Harithiya, Beit Ummar, Bethlehem, Falame. During the day they raided Nablus, Deir Sammit, Al Jib, Al-Ram, Beit Hanina, ad-Dhahiriya, Meithalun, Iktaba, Hares, Beitin, Sebastia, Huwara, Zububa, Immatain, Hizma, Tammun, Beit Ula. Over 100 persons were arrested.

Army attacks against Palestinians

1. Hebron – the home of Amran Ibrahim Amran Al Atrash was raided. He was one of the perpetrators of the terrorist attack at Etzyon Junction. Several metal gates in the city were closed.


2. Beit Ummar, north of Hebron – continued raid that began yesterday following the attack at Etzyon Junction, when all the entrances to the village were blocked. Takeover of several houses throughout the day and turning them into army posts. Auxiliaries, confrontations all day, fired teargas and stun grenades, partial curfew, access denial to medical staff and ambulances.


About 200 residents are detained in the football court. On-the-ground interrogations, harsh beatings, confiscation of vehicles and dozens of arrests. A wounded person evacuated to hospital after being badly beaten up in his upper body, another wounded person by fired rubber bullets. The mosque closed down, people trying to attend the pray were chased away.


3. Deir Sammit, south of Hebron – night raid, takeover of a house and turning it into a center for on-the-ground interrogations. Detentions and interrogation of dozens of residents. All released in the morning, and the army retreated.


4. Al-Ram and Beit Hanina, north of Jerusalem – confrontations, teargas fired near the Separation Wall between the towns.

5. Hizma, north-east of Jerusalem – confrontations, live fire, teargas and stun grenades.

6. Al Jib, north-west of Jerusalem – dawn raid, arrests.

7. Nablus – the western cemetery area raided. Auxiliaries, a house besieged, live fire and arrest. Forces retreat while confrontations are held.



Colonist attacks against the army

1. Silat al-Harithiya, west of Jenin – improvised explosive charge activated on a military vehicle.


Demolitions and blockage

1. Dura, south of Hebron – people carry a deceased’s body on foot because the metal gates are closed.


2. Anata, north-east of Jerusalem – bulldozers destroy commercial buildings.

3. Ras Karkar, west of Ramallah – entrance to the village closed down.

4. Furush Beit Dajan, east of Nablus – a house demolished.


5. Madama, south of Nablus – all entrances to the village closed down.


Palestinian attacks against colonists

1. Bruqin, west of Salfit – stones thrown, damage to vehicle.

2. Kufr al-Dik, west of Salfit – stones thrown.


Colonist attacks against Palestinians

1. Al-Aqsa Mosque, East Jerusalem – 8 colonists tried to enter the compound and sacrifice animals. They held a goat, 3 doves and prayer gear. They were pushed off by the compound security guards.

2. Mukhmas, Khallet al Sidra Community, north-east of Jerusalem – buildings and vehicles attacked, windows smashed, tires punctured. Persons wounded in the community.


3. Ras Al Ein, north of Jericho – attacks of harassment and intimidation as every day.

4. Sinjil, north of Ramallah – attack on farmland north of the village.

5. Al-Tira, west of Ramallah – colonists attack bee keepers and beehives

6. Deir Sharaf, north-west of Nablus – the contents of a furniture store destroyed: sanitation installations, bath tubs, toilets and kitchens.
