2. Aid:
‣ Since the regional war began on February 28, 2026, Israel has closed the Rafah crossing and the Zikim crossing, and significantly reduced movement through the Kerem Shalom crossing. Toward the end of March, Rafah crossing partially reopened.

3. Health system:
‣ In early April, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza published a report warning of the collapse of the health system:
‣ Of 21,367 awaiting evacuation, only 579 patients and injured evacuated since the beginning of 2026 (excluding accompanying persons);
‣ Reports of increase in rodent and pest bites, lice, scabies and skin diseases:
◦ 80% of displacement camps reported lice;
◦ 48% of displacement camps reported skin diseases.
‣ Medicines and medical equipment:
◦ 50% shortage of medicines;
◦ 71% shortage of laboratory testing equipment;
◦ 61% shortage of oncology medications;
◦ Shortage of fuel, oil and spare parts for hospital generators, putting critical departments at risk of closure.

4. Education system:
