Day 4 of U.S.–Iran Negotiations to End the Regional War

Iran

1. Despite reports of progress in negotiations in Switzerland, Trump threatens to resume strikes on Iran. The Iranian delegation leaves the negotiations in protest at his threats and holds consultations on the way forward.



2. The United States attack on the girls' primary school in Minab, February 28, 2026: The Guardian reports that the Pentagon will not disclose the full findings of its investigation into the incident, in which at least 175 people were killed — mostly children — in order to conceal serious errors from the public.


Israel

‣ The Home Front Command lifts all restrictions in northern communities. The Defense Minister announced that Israel will not withdraw from the security zone in Lebanon.


Lebanon
